Hyaluronic Acid Injections are delivered over three sessions, spaced two weeks apart. At each appointment, you will receive a CT-guided Hyaluronic Acid Injection directly into the affected joint, administered in a sterile clinical setting. Maximum benefits are typically observed after completing all three injections, with relief lasting up to six months.

A member of our clinical team will explain the procedure and answer any questions before you begin. During the procedure:

  • CT imaging is used to accurately guide needle placement
  • The injection or treatment is performed quickly and with minimal discomfort
  • Most procedures are completed within a short timeframe

You may feel a brief sting from the local anaesthetic or mild pressure during the injection. In some cases, there may be a short-lived increase in pain when treating nerve-related conditions, which usually settles quickly.

After the procedure, the radiologist will prepare a report for your referring doctor.
